Rosario Montoya holds a PhD in anthropology and history from the University of Michigan and has been working in Nicaragua since 1989. She is a faculty affiliate at the University of Colorado at Boulder and the co-editor of Gender´s Place: Feminist Anthropologies of Latin America.
