  • Sales Policies

  • Instructors seeking examination copies must inquire under their school letterhead, citing the course for which the book is intended and estimated enrollment. Examination copies of paperback books with list price less than $25 are shipped gratis upon receipt of $5 postage and handling for each title requested. Requests for paperback exam copies are limited to four titles. Examination copies of paperback books retailing over $25 and of clothbound books will be sent on a ninety-day approval and invoiced at 10% discount. Please provide a Visa or MasterCard number. If after ninety days we have not received evidence of adoption (bookstore order for ten copies or more) or return of the book in salable condition, the credit card will be billed for purchase of the book. The Press reserves the right to limit examination copies to appropriate courses.

  • Standing orders are welcome from libraries, retailers, and wholesalers. Libraries may establish any basis for standing order and earn a 15% discount. Wholesalers agreeing to take a minimum of five units of each new book earn maximum discounts on initial shipments.

  • Libraries: The University of Arizona Press participates in the Cataloging-in-Publication program (CIP) of the Library of Congress. All of our books meet the requirements of the American National Standard for Permanence of Paper for Printed Library Materials.
