The University of Arizona Press, The University of North Carolina Press, The University of Minnesota Press, and The Oregon State University Press have partnered in an exciting new Indigenous studies publishing initiative. With funding from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the collaborating presses will publish works by authors that reflect the expanding field of Indigenous studies. The initiative aims to demonstrate the ways Indigenous traditional and lived experiences contribute to and reframe discourses on the history, culture, identity, and rights of indigenous peoples worldwide.
